- 1 minute walk to Helford Passage beach and Ferry Boat Inn.
- Within 10 minutes walk is Budock Vean Hotel with 9 hole golf course - available to non-residents.
- Only 15 minutes walk to Trebah Gardens, a haven full of sub-tropical plants with its own beach and cafe providing delicious food.
- A further 10 minutes walk to Glendurgan Gardens owned by National Trust and one mile beyond is the village of Mawnan Smith with village shops, Italian restaurant and Red Lion Inn.
- Ferry trips across the Helford River to Helford Village run on a regular basis in the summertime, from Helford Village you can walk to the beautiful Frenchman's Creek or stop for a drink at The Shipwrights Inn.
- Sailing boats, rowing boats and motor boats available for hire from Helford River Boat Hire.
- Mooring available for privately owned boats.
- During the summer time a number of regattas take place on the Helford River, which are very popular with visitors and locals alike.
